Sample Preparation Guidelines
 

  • Solid Samples: Cut into fine particles (approx. 0.5–1.5 mg) and place in a quartz sample boat

  • Liquid Samples: Inject approx. 1 µl directly into the injection port

  • Insert sample boat into the pyrolysis injection system and begin RoHS 2.0-compliant analysis
     


Recommended Pyrolysis Conditions (RoHS 2.0 Compliant)

 
  • Pyrolysis Temp Program: 100 °C → (72 °C/min) → 280 °C (hold for 2 min)

  • Transfer Line Temperature: 300 °C

  • Injection Mode: Split injection

    • Solid: 0.5–1 mg

    • Liquid: ~1 µl

  • FID Detector & Injection Port Temperatures: 300 °C

  • GC Temp Program: Start at 100 °C (hold 1 min), ramp at 20 °C/min to 300 °C (hold for 14 min)

Sample Preparation Area Requirements
 

  • Dedicated workspace with electronic balance and RoHS 2.0-compliant tools

  • Ensure table stability to minimize vibration and enhance weighing accuracy

  • Keep balance away from airflow sources to prevent measurement interference

  • Recommended Dimensions: 120 cm x 80 cm x 75 cm

  • For limited space: two 150 cm-length tables may be used
